Karmaoke 2025 was a resounding success! Our second annual Karmaoke event took place on November 23rd, beginning with a Thanksgiving potluck and concluding with the dedication of $53,000 in pledged contributions to keeping the Dharma flowing at KCC for the benefit of all beings.

KCC plans to turn its backyard into a “micro forest,” full of native plantings to replace a big section of the existing lawn. Micro forests in urban areas can contribute to absorption of carbon as well as providing wildlife benefits. The upcoming Mulch-Moving Work Party on Saturday 1 November from 8:00am to 10:30am will be a big-step to making this happen on our own little corner of earth.
