We are thankful to have a large group of volunteers supporting the many activities and service groups involved in running KCC. There are MANY WAYS to get involved! We will work together to find you a role that fits right. We want you to have a rewarding experience.
In addition to our volunteers, we are fortunate to have our wonderful staff, with Tim Campbell leading the way as our managing director. Cynthia Irvine is KCC’s excellent bookkeeper. Wilder Lyon and Vicki Fields are the caretakers at our retreat land, Ser Chö Ösel Ling.
With volunteering, there are so many options to get involved, ranging from serving on the Board of Directors to Sunday Openers, Closers and Shrine tenders. Sally Mead is Volunteer Support Coordinator, along with the Volunteer Support Team of Makiko Oki, Kate Rudigier, Vicki Fields, and Rosemarie Sweet.
Kate Rudigier coordinates the Sunday morning volunteers for the Portland Center. If you are interested in helping with opening, closing or shrine tending at the Portland center for our Sunday morning programs, please contact Kate at katerudigier@gmail.com.
