SCOL is Hiring Retreat Cooks
Ser Chö Ösel Ling (SCOL) Retreat Center is looking to create a pool of on-call lead and assistant cooks to support our expanding retreat operations. If you are looking for a way to serve the dharma, and if you have basic kitchen skills and a flexible schedule, retreat cooking might be for you.
SCOL is located just north of Goldendale, Washington. It comprises 240 acres of oak and pine forest and has a year round creek. There are trails to walk, and a variety of wildlife species to watch. Retreat cooks may also have the opportunity to have interviews with teachers and attend retreat sessions. There is also a shrine room specifically for staff use.
