KCC Is Hiring: Executive Director
Linda Grove, KCC’s program support coordinator, is preparing to retire. Over six years, Linda has been a pivotal presence at KCC, skillfully ensuring that the sangha ran smoothly and that all practitioners were welcomed and embraced. We owe her a great debt of gratitude for her service and commitment. Luckily, she will continue practicing at KCC after her paid employment ends around the end of this year or beginning of next year. We hope and expect that she will be an active presence at Sunday sits, retreats, classes and social events.
KCC’s Board and Human Resources Coordinator have decided to hire another full-time employee upon Linda’s departure. With help from Linda, we determined what KCC needs at this point in its existence, creating a job description somewhat different from her current work. The new job description focuses on internal and external communications, program support, human resources and leadership roles such as helping to coordinate implementation of the strategic plan and supporting and coordinating the work of the Service Groups.
The job description – linked here and below – is for an Executive Director. We place a high priority on offering this opportunity to our sangha members, who begin with an understanding of KCC’s unique culture and spiritual mission. If you are interested in applying for this job, please review the job description carefully to make sure that your skills and experience are a good fit. If after this review, you would like to be considered or if you have further questions, please contact Rosemarie Sweet, our Human Resources Coordinator, at cullyrose1@gmail.com. At this point, we are just seeking a show of interest. At a later time, there will be an opportunity to make a formal application. If you have interest in the position, please respond to Rosemarie by November 4th.
For the Dharma,
John Jennings, President
Rosemarie Sweet, Human Resources Coordinator
