On the second and fourth Sundays of each month, from 9:00 to 11:00 am, we offer the Sunday Morning Children’s Program. This program normally starts in September and runs through the second Sunday in June. In July and August we meet once a month on the fourth Sunday. We require that at least one parent or guardian be present at KCC when their child attends.
The session is intended for individuals who are either unfamiliar with Buddhist practice or are new to KCC. All are welcome and invited to attend.

KCC acknowledges that sexual misconduct within religious institutions, Buddhist sanghas, and the wider Kagyu lineage has caused profound harm and stands in direct contradiction to the values we aspire to as Buddhists. KCC’s Board of Directors would like to share our Sexual Misconduct Policy with the sangha, offering clear guidance to support a culture of safety and respect and to provide concrete avenues for redress should concerns arise.
At the beginning of each session, brief instruction to the practice of Shamatha will be given. After a 45-minute session, there will be a teaching or question-and-answer period with participants. |
