Ta-Da! Board of Directors Year-in-Review
Dear Sangha:
Prior to the sangha meeting on 15 Dec 2024, the Board of Directors wanted to share their 2024 Ta-Da! list (i.e the accomplishments of the past year). With the help of Lama Eric, the KCC staff, the Service Group Coordinators, and other sangha members, the KCC Board had a productive 2024:
- Hired and onboarded new director – Tim Campbell
- KCC Bylaws were reviewed, revised, and approved
- An employee manual was written and approved
- Developed a written evaluation process for the Resident Lama and Director
- Helped plan and conduct the annual Leadership Retreat
- Established an Inclusivity Committee
- Recruited one new board member – Tea Perkins
In addition, we handled our annual board responsibilities:
- Annual review with Resident Lama
- Developed and approved annual Board goals
- Board review and self-evaluation
- Reviewed the proposed budget and approved a final budget.
- Vote on Officers
The KCC Board of Directors nurtures the mission and vision by setting annual goals, establishing operating policy and monitoring the legal and fiscal health of the organization. The current officers and directors on the board are:

The Board meets once-a-month. Members also collaborate online, in other committee meetings, and sometimes over a cafe mocha at a coffee shop!
