Join us this Sunday after the morning sit for a presentation on The Second Era of KCC: The 1980's as part of an ongoing series celebrating 50 years of KCC.
As part of KCC's 50th Anniversary Year, today's regular Sunday Shamatha session will be extended to include storytelling about the history of KCC, setting of aspirations for the future, and a catered lunch. We look forward to celebrating five decades of practice with all of you!
Join us for two hours of sharing and appreciation followed by a reception with refreshments and more memories. Come if you knew Lama Michael; come if you didn’t; come if you haven’t visited KCC in a while; and come if it’s your new home!
We are pleased to announce that Venerable Lama Tsang Tsing will be bestowing the three initiations that are most essential to KCC’s programming: Vajrasattva, Green Tara, and Chenrezi.
Following up on Ven. Lama Tsang Tsing offering the Green Tara empowerment at KCC on Saturday, July 11th, Lama Eric will offer a review of the practice. Green Tara is a Vajrayana practice that involves visualization and mantra recitation to approach what Green Tara embodies—the activity of all the Buddhas.
