Stabilizing Recognition of the Nature of Mind
We are pleased to welcome Ringu Tulku Rinpoche back to KCC this autumn. Rinpoche will be teaching from Chapter 9: "Sustaining the Recognition of the Nature of Mind" from his book Confusion Arises as Wisdom: Gampopa's Heart Advice on the Path of Mahamudra.
Shamatha Meditation – Half Day + Potluck
During this special half-day of practice on First Sundays, Lama Eric Triebelhorn provides detailed instructions about the practice of Shamatha from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by a potluck lunch. These Shamatha Half-Day Sits happen in odd-numbered months: January, March, May, July, September, and November.
Shamatha Meditation – PM
At the beginning of each session, brief instruction to the practice of Shamatha will be given. After a 45-minute session, there will be a teaching or question-and-answer period with participants.
White Tara Morning Practice
White Tara is a beloved practice in Vajrayana Buddhism known for enhancing longevity, removing obstacles, aiding in the development of compassion, and for being a pathway to wisdom.
Death and Dying Study Group
Participation in the study group is open to all but the Zoom meetings are done by password-protected invitation email. Anyone who is interested should contact the organizer.
Chenrezi Practice
The practice of Chenrezi — the embodiment of the compassion of all the buddhas — is an excellent introduction to yidam practice of vajrayana Buddhism.
Mind Training Group: Foundational Texts Review
This mini class is open to everyone, whether you're reconnecting with the Essential Mind Training texts or exploring them for the first time. While it's designed as a review for those who participated in the 2017 & 2018 study groups, newcomers are warmly encouraged to join.
