We are pleased to be able to once again host our annual one-month opportunity for personal retreat at Ser Chö Ösel Ling, our retreat land in Goldendale, WA. Some may sign up for the entire month and others will come for stays ranging from a weekend to three weeks.
Never done a meditation retreat before? Feel like you need a sanity break? Need some inspiration for your meditation? This weekend retreat—from Friday evening till Monday lunch—can serve any of these purposes and more.
Come enjoy the Columbia Gorge in bloom! SCOL hosts work parties several times a year to serve together on major projects. These are opportunities to meet in a more informal setting, socialize, and complete tasks needed to operate our retreat facility and a property of this size.

Kyabje Bokar Rinpoche began this program for the benefit of modern practitioners who have busy lives but also wish to travel the path to awakening. The curriculum progresses through instruction on shamatha in year one, vipashyana in year two, and the union of these two in year three.
