For this meeting, we’ll take time to check in, reflect together, and discuss the principles and precepts of Engaged Buddhism, considering how they can inform our practice and the way we move through the world.

At the beginning of each session, brief instruction to the practice of Shamatha will be given. After a 45-minute session, there will be a teaching or question-and-answer period with participants.
A silent sit is offered on Thursdays, from 11:00 AM to noon, hosted by members of the sangha at KCC. A bell will ring at noon to close the session, and anyone who’d like to stay for a brown‑bag lunch is warmly welcome.
The practice of Chenrezi — the embodiment of the compassion of all the buddhas — is an excellent introduction to yidam practice of vajrayana Buddhism.
