Engaged Buddhism Meeting
November 30, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

There are two wings to our practice – wisdom and compassion. If we only exercise one wing, we cannot fly.
In this second get-together we hope to brainstorm ways of working our wing of compassion in our homes, our neighborhoods, our world.
Of course, to do this skillfully we must keep the wing of wisdom and equanimity-towards-all working simultaneously. How can KCC members support each other in this difficult work? Join us to share your ideas.
“Hope Is a Strategy, And Community Is the Front Line”
Amid the danger, the civil rights leader Eric Ward calls on everyday Americans to show moral courage—not forged in battle, but in unity. “Courage starts with a breath,” he says. “We need to stop panicking, support our local governments, and rejoin civic life even if it’s just quilting clubs or faith groups. Presence in community is resistance.”
