At the beginning of each session, brief instruction to the practice of Shamatha will be given. After a 45-minute session, there will be a teaching or question-and-answer period with participants.

A silent sit is offered on Thursdays, from 11:00 AM to noon, hosted by members of the sangha at KCC. A bell will ring at noon to close the session, and anyone who’d like to stay for a brown‑bag lunch is warmly welcome.

Following up on Ven. Lama Tsang Tsing offering the Green Tara empowerment at KCC on Saturday, July 11th, Lama Eric will offer a review of the practice. Green Tara is a Vajrayana practice that involves visualization and mantra recitation to approach what Green Tara embodies—the activity of all the Buddhas.
