*A new mind training class started September 9 and will continue every second and fourth Thursdays. Our text for exploring the Seven-Point Mind training is The Practice of Lojong, by Traleg Kyabgon. Please join us!
KCC’s Mind Training group, led by Tim Campbell and Zopa Herron, approaches the Tibetan Buddhist mind training teachings through the method of the Three Wisdoms: study, contemplation and meditation.

We pay special attention to key texts in this tradition, like Geshe Chekawa’s Seven-Point Mind Training, and Langri Thangpa’s Eight Verses of Thought Transformation. We often study and practice with the complete set of aphorisms from the Seven-Point Mind Training; a cycle which can take 1.5 to 2 years to complete. Our explorations (so far) include early mind training teachings and the Four Immeasurables.
Anyone is welcome to join us at any time. No previous experience is necessary. Questions are especially welcome. Our effort is to be open, welcoming and inclusive. We are exploring how these teachings can be applied in our everyday lives.
This study group will meet on the second and fourth Thursdays every month, with occasional exceptions.
