SCOL Work Party – Forestry and Conservation
April 20, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
We invite you to SCOL for a day of friendship and service to enhance our beautiful forest environment. We will meet at 10am to work on various projects including storing wood for the winter, thinning areas for fire prevention, and trail improvement. There are indoor tasks as well. At noon we will share a potluck lunch then work again for a few hours in the afternoon. You are welcome to arrive Friday afternoon and stay until Sunday to enjoy the area, free of charge. Please bring your own food including something to share for the potluck, bedding, sturdy shoes, and work clothes suitable for all weather conditions. Partners, family, and friends are always welcome at work parties. Spring wildflowers are starting to emerge, birds and squirrels are nesting, and we await our new fawns. Come join us.
