Facilitated Sangha-wide Sharing and Reflection Session

June 19, 2022, 10:15 am - 12:00 pm

On the morning of Sunday, June 19 from 10:15am to noon, immediately after our regular 9:00am meditation, there will be a special facilitated sangha-wide conversation organized by the committee created by KCC’s Board of Directors after the March letter to the sangha from the Board and Lama Eric regarding the allegations regarding the Karmapa.

To attend: A CONNECT TO ZOOM button will appears below 15 minutes prior to the start time.  If it is not appearing at the time, you may need to reload the URL / refresh your browser.

The conversation will provide a supportive space for sangha members to share feelings and reactions arising from the abuse allegations against the Karmapa and thoughts about how we can more effectively work together to address contentious issues as a community with open hearts. It should be engaging for all sangha members, even those unfamiliar with or uninterested in the allegations.

The Board and the Committee strongly encourage all to attend. The conversation will be facilitated by LaShelle Lowe-Chardé, a professional mindful compassionate dialogue consultant. It will be held in person as well as on Zoom.

As part of the facilitated process, the Committee will be sending an invitation to all sangha members to sign up to speak at the meeting, so watch for that invitation and a more detailed announcement soon.
