Equanimity & Inclusion Study Group
November 19, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Teacher: Zopa Herron
This month our dear Dharma brother, Bob Wilson will present on self care and initial life traumas from the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study. Bob will share how lack of healing of these traumas contributes to engaging in racism and other oppressions, and affect how we relate to and process our roles in a society with oppressive attitudes and systems.
Bob will share ideas from Resmaa Menakem’s book, My Grandmother’s Hands, on how to transform trauma, to allow healing and effective speech and action to occur. (You do not have to have or read the book to participate in this).
This group meets monthly to explore becoming Allies for full inclusion of all beings without exception. We will use discussion, exercises, meditations and laughter. All who are interested are welcome to join us. Please contact Zopa at if you plan to attend or for any questions you may have.

You are warmly welcomed to join us!
