Gampopa’s Jewel Ornament of Liberation
Khenchen Konchok Gyaltsen Rinpoche is considered a true expert on Gampopa’s Jewel Ornament of Realization. KCC is greatly honored to be able to host Rinpoche for these teachings.
Training in the Mind of Awakening—Bodhichitta and the Bodhisattva Vow
Please join us for this special opportunity to receive an uninterrupted transmission of the bodhisattva vow in the Drikung Kagyu lineage from Khenchen Konchok Gyaltsen Rinpoche.
Brief instruction to the practice is provided before every session. Lama Eric Triebelhorn provides detailed instructions about the practice of Shamatha on alternating first Sundays from 9:00am to 12:30 including a question and answer session. These Half-Day Sits happen in odd-numbered months: January, March, May, July, September, and November.
ZOOM only. At the beginning of each session, brief instruction to the practice of Shamatha will be given. After a one-hour session and a 10-minute break, there will be a teaching or question-and-answer period with participants.
Participation in the study group is open to all but the Zoom meetings are done by password-protected invitation email. Anyone who is interested should contact the organizer.
The practice of Green Tara belongs to the vajrayana class of meditations. Tara is considered the embodiment of the activity of all the buddhas.
The practice of Chenrezi — the embodiment of the compassion of all the buddhas — is an excellent introduction to yidam practice of vajrayana Buddhism.
The Mind Training study group approaches the Tibetan Buddhist mind training teachings through the method of the Three Wisdoms of Gampopa: study, contemplation, and meditation.
