Mahamudra Shamatha—Embracing the View, Allowing the Meditation
For this retreat there is an option to attend the first 3 days only or continue on for the full 7-day retreat. There are no prerequisites to participate in this retreat, but you must be able to attend all the sessions for which you register.
The KCC Board of Directors meets on the third Sunday of every month. Sangha members are welcome to attend.
At the beginning of each session, brief instruction to the practice of Shamatha will be given. After a one-hour session and a 10-minute break, there will be a teaching or question-and-answer period with participants.
This is an informal session to share thoughts, questions, ideas, and writing with the wish to strengthen connections within the sangha. These sessions are typically theme-based. Everyone is welcome!
Participation in the study group is open to all but the Zoom meetings are done by password-protected invitation email. Anyone who is interested should contact the organizer.
The practice of Chenrezi — the embodiment of the compassion of all the buddhas — is an excellent introduction to yidam practice of vajrayana Buddhism.
On the third Wednesday of every month, Lama Eric leads the Chenrezi sadhana and offers instruction.
The session is intended for individuals who are either unfamiliar with Buddhist practice or are new to KCC. All are welcome and invited to attend.
