Shamatha Retreat – Finding Calm in the Midst of Chaos
For this retreat there is an option to attend the first 3 days only or continue on for the full 7-day retreat. There are no prerequisites to participate in this retreat, but you must be able to attend all the sessions for which you register.
Lama Eric Triebelhorn provides detailed instructions about the practice of Chenrezi on alternating first Sundays from 9:00am to 12:30pm. He walks participants through the practice several times and there is also space for questions and discussion. All are welcome.
At the beginning of each session, brief instruction to the practice of Shamatha will be given. After a one-hour session and a 10-minute break, there will be a teaching or question-and-answer period with participants.
This is an informal session to share thoughts, questions, ideas, and writing with the wish to strengthen connections within the sangha. These sessions are typically theme-based. Everyone is welcome!
