BECOME A MEMBER
Becoming a Member of KCC is an opportunity to:
- Recognize KCC as a precious resource for spiritual practice
- Support the dharma center as a place of practice
- Enhance an ongoing relationship with KCC
The Responsibilities and Benefits of Membership
- Minimum dues are $25.00 per member, or $35.00 per family per month or the equivalent paid quarterly or annually. Individuals who wish to be members but are unable to meet the minimum payments may contact a member of the Membership Committee to discuss alternatives.
- Members are also encouraged to financially support other KCC funds: Lama Support, Capital Campaign, Long Retreat, and Scholarship.
- Members acknowledge their responsibility to pay dues in a timely fashion. KCC encourages the use of direct debit.
- Members who are current and have paid three months dues are eligible for discounts for retreats and other events. Members receive the KCC newsletter.
- Members are encouraged to share in the responsibilities of caring for the center and supporting its activities. Please contact the Volunteer Support Committee to discuss ways you might contribute.
- Members are provided with a year-end statement of all donations.
- Members may attend meetings of the Board of Directors and are encouraged to participate in the monthly and annual Sangha meetings.
Becoming a Member
- After reviewing these guidelines, please feel free to discuss membership with a member of the Membership Committee or any other member of KCC.
- When you decide to become a member, please fill out a membership enrollment form and either drop it in the donations box or mail it to KCC.
Contributions are also gratefully accepted from non-members
