We did it! Come Celebrate!!

Annual Open House at SCOL,
Kagyu Changchub Chulings's Retreat Land in Goldendale, WA

10:00am- Arrive and walk/shuttle up to the retreat center, about 1/2 mile.

10:30am-12:00pm- Facility tours, A day in the life of a long retreat led by Lama MichaelConklin and assistant teachers Julia King Tamang, Bill Spangle and Dora DeCoursey. Experience the sights and sounds similar to an actual 3-year retreat. A tour lasts approximately 20 minutes, sign-up on arrival.

12:30-1:30- Potluck lunch including a celebration surprise prepared in the new kitchen

1:45-3:15pm- A talk by KCC teachers and friends: "Giving Flight to our Vision"

--A kid's activity will be held during the talk.

 

Potluck offerings will be collected at the parking area. Come prepared for the weather! Sorry, no pets please.

Directions to Ser Cho Osel Ling: IMPORTANT- Biggs Junction Bridge is closed, cross to Washington at The Dalles. From Portland- take I-84 East to exit 87 at The Dalles. Cross the Columbia River and continue east on Hwy 14. Bear left at Hwy 97 North towards Goldendale. Go 4 miles past Goldendale exits to just before mile marker 17,turn left onto Horse Ranch Road. Continue to the end, about 1 mile, to the entrance of SCOL.
