**PLEASE NOTE: On February 2, we will be following a regular Sunday session with 9:00-9:50 practice, tea break, followed by Q&A with Lama Michael until 11:00 a.m.**
Calm Abiding (Zhinay in Tibetan, Shamatha in Sanskrit) is a basic sitting meditation that develops stable attention and provides the basis for investigating more subtle aspects of awareness. It is the foundation of spiritual practice at KCC.
On odd months, join us for Calm Abiding practice 9:00 a.m. to Noon in three sessions with brief instructions from one of our teachers.
On even months, join us in the practice of Chenrezig, with instruction from one of our teachers. (Meditation on Chenrezig, the embodiment of the Buddhas’ compassion, is the central Vajrayana Buddhist practice supported by KCC. )
Please note we offer our Children’s Program on second and fourth Sunday mornings.
