Fourth Class - Mandala Practice:  July 14, 9:30-2:00pm

Please note the extended time for this particular class:  The morning will include an overview of the background of the practice and guided meditations to introduce the outer, inner, and secret view of mandala offering. An afternoon session has been added to allow for detailed practical instructions. This extra time is needed since the mandala offering is more elaborate than the other Ngondro practices.

9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
LUNCH - brown bag or eat at nearby restaurant
1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This class series includes practical instruction, background teachings and opportunities for group practice and dialogue for those who are engaged in the Karma Kagyu Ngondro (“Foundation" Practices) and other practices of the Mahamudra Seminar Program. The intention of this series is to make these practices accessible to new practitioners and challenge experienced practitioners to find new depth.

Since there is a new cohort of people who attended the January Mahamudra Program in India, this series is following the quarterly practice schedule of the seminar. The Mandala Offering is the current Ngondro practice for those starting this year. In future sessions, teachings on the Guru Yoga will be presented. Past sessions are accessible on the KCCmedia YouTube archive.

For those who are not familiar with the seminar program please see this page for an overview.
