Ser Chö Ösel Ling Entrance
Ser Chö Ösel Ling, the "Land of the Clear Light Golden Dharma," is located near Goldendale, Washington, about 2 hours up the Columbia River Gorge from Portland. It is blanketed with pine and oak forest, interspersed with natural meadows and dramatic basalt outcroppings. It is identifiable on regional maps by a unique heart-shaped 40-acre meadow at its entrance. Three streams on the land help support a variety of species of native plants and animals. Coyotes, porcupines, bobcats, deer, and 52 species of birds are among the many animals in the area. Mountains are clearly visible in the distance.
